A native plant!

Meaningless Yule tree ornament pictures

The tree is tilting badly because Silver keeps getting in it and he's NOT a small cat. A few ornaments have been broken. I've moved most of the vintage ones away from where he can reach them. This is the first year he's had a Christmas tree, even though we've had him a couple of years now.

R.I.P. Mr. Moose

The moose that has been hanging around got hit and killed on the road last night. They were pulling his body out of the ditch today when we drove past.

The moose are so scarce here, it's a shame when one gets killed especially so young. And he was a pretty cool animal.

Christmas lights up!

Got some of the Yule decorations up:
The magic blooming Christmas ficus.

The old Baroque mirror with lights and tinsel over it.

Lights on the sideboard, with a glass bowl of ornaments cat proofed with double sided tape.
